Dental Staff

Dr. Hans Skariah has been licensed since 2002, primarily working in Tavistock and Mississauga. A double scholarship winner at the University of Toronto, his experience and patient/staff loyalty has allowed him to start two practices in Mississauga (2006-now sold) and Plattsville (2013). He is an avid sports fan (frustrated with the Leafs, but ever hopeful with the Raptors and Blue Jays), traveller, computer geek and amateur cosmologist. He is happily married to his wife and very much enjoys time with his twin boys, family and friends.

Dr. Andrew El-Faizy (along with being a classmate and roomate while training with Dr. Skariah) is a passionate artist and sculptor...often taking many courses in Toronto to enhance his craft. This translates to great artistry with his dentistry. He is our resident root canal and wisdom tooth extraction expert and has been working with our group since 2009.

Connie completed her Nursing training at Lambton College in 1992 followed by Dental Assisting and Hygiene at George Brown College. Graduating with honours in 1995, she has spent the majority of her tenure at Tavistock Dental until joining our team in 2014. She and her husband currently live in Stratford with their two young children where their time is spent raising their kids. 

Connie first met Dr. Skariah in 2002 when they were both working together at Tavistock Dental and has been working for him at his Promenade Court Mississauga office since 2011. She also has extremely loyal patients that have been known to drive many kilometers to see her. Client satisfaction and education are her main focus. 

Kim had been working as Dental Laboratory Technician for 12 years when she decided to return to school to obtain her Level II Dental Assisting from Medix School in 2011. Kim grew up in New Hamburg and now raises her two daughters there as well. 

Her professional joy is interacting with the patients she meets everyday and having had the pleasure in assisting in their procedures.

I’ve been in the dental field since 2014 as a certified level 2 dental assistant. In 2018 I went back to school to pursue my dream of becoming a dental hygienist. I graduated with honours from Toronto College of dental hygiene and auxiliaries. I am passionate about oral hygiene education and creating individualized care for each patient to achieve optimal oral health. I live in Kitchener with my two beautiful daughters. I enjoy reading, baking and relaxing on my stand up paddle board in the middle of the lake. I love travelling and learning new languages. I am fluent in 3 languages. I’m blessed to be the newest member of Plattsville Dental team and looking forward to building great connections and friendships with my patients and my team.

I've been in the dental field since 1998 and am a familiar face from the 'Tavi days'. During my dental career I have held many positions and am currently the voice and face that is first encountered at Plattsville Dental. I am married to an amazing man with a combined family of 9 kids with 1 little man left at home. I love travelling when given the opportunity. In my spare time, you can often find me at live theatre, fishing or basketball with my youngest son or just being a mom.

Recent graduate of dental assistant program 2022. I did my clinical rotation with Plattsville Dental. I am married with 2 young sons and we live in Plattsville.

Yalda is our Saturday hygienist and has worked with Dr. Skariah in the Mississauga office.

Kelly comes to us from New Hamburg and is our Saturday hygienist.
